Indulge in Exquisite Japanese

Beauty & Wellness Rituals

Our Facial Rituals

Our facials are rooted in the ancestral art of Kyokutē, a traditional Japanese massage technique whose name means “songs of the hands.” These rituals go far beyond skincare — they are a form of holistic renewal. Designed to release physical tension and soothe emotional stress, they offer a deeply nourishing experience that helps you reconnect with your body in a meaningful, positive way. This mindful approach to beauty fosters a virtuous cycle — where inner well-being naturally enhances outer radiance.

We exclusively use Éminence Organic Skin Care, and every treatment is tailored to your skin’s current needs and long-term goals. Because no two women are alike, your facial will never follow a rigid protocol. We will select the best course of action together when you arrive.

Each treatment includes:

  • Makeup removal

  • Deep cleansing

  • Toning

  • An inch-by-inch Kyokutē massage from décolleté to forehead

  • A customised peel or masque

  • Hydration with carefully selected moisturisers

Our Body Rituals

Our body treatments blend techniques from East and West to offer a truly holistic experience. A traditional Swedish or aromatherapy massage is enhanced with elements of Shiatsu, allowing us to work on deeper layers of tension with greater precision and care. For those who prefer not to receive hands-on touch, we also offer volcanic stone and bamboo massages, providing a restorative alternative that channels warmth and pressure through natural materials. To deepen relaxation and enhance the benefits of your session, select rituals begin with time in our saunarium or caldarium, allowing heat or steam to gently prepare your body for deeper release and absorption of the active ingredients in the products.

We exclusively use Éminence Organic Skin Care, chosen for its synergy with skin health and body systems. Every treatment will be individually tailored to your body’s needs and wellness goals.

In Japanese culture, all things—animate or not—are believed to carry a spirit. With reverence for this philosophy, I have personally selected stones and bamboo from Japan, and had them blessed during a Goma fire ceremony at Fukagawa Fudōdō Temple in Tokyo. This act of devotion reflects our belief that beauty rituals can also be acts of gratitude.

Our Sense of Hospitality

To prolong the serenity of your treatment, ōka invites you to discover a tea or fruit drink from our Japanese collection - a complimentary ritual which offers subtle flavours and whispers of well-being.
